Refund Policy

1. Overview

We want you to be satisfied with your purchases on Author Platform. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for purchases made through our Service.

Since Author Platform sells digital goods and services (virtual tokens and subscriptions), refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase and whether the digital goods have been consumed.

2. Token Pack Refunds

  • Unused tokens: If you purchased a token pack and have not spent any tokens from the pack, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • Partially used tokens: If you have spent some tokens from the pack, a partial refund may be issued for the unused portion at our discretion.
  • Fully used tokens: If all tokens from the pack have been spent, no refund is available.

3. Subscription Refunds

  • Within 7 days of purchase: Full refund if you are not satisfied with the premium features.
  • After 7 days: You can cancel at any time, but the subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for the remaining days.
  • Recurring charges: If you forgot to cancel and were charged for a new period, contact us within 48 hours of the charge for a full refund of that charge.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at support@authorhubapp.com with the following information:

  • Your username or account email
  • The transaction ID or payment confirmation (from your email receipt)
  • The reason for the refund request
  • The date of purchase

5. Processing Time

  • We will review your request within 3 business days.
  • Card payments (Paddle): Approved refunds will be processed through Paddle and typically arrive within 5–10 business days.
  • Cryptocurrency payments (NOWPayments): Due to the nature of blockchain transactions, crypto refunds are issued to the wallet address you provide and may take up to 7 business days to process.

6. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • The account was banned or terminated for violating our Terms and Conditions or Community Rules
  • The request is made more than 14 days after the purchase of tokens or more than 7 days after a subscription charge
  • Evidence of fraud or abuse of the refund process
  • Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us (we encourage users to reach out to us before disputing a charge with their bank)
